Rush Month 2008
Details
Well, Rush Month '08 is on. And we're doing great so far. The quota of 90 new members should be easily attainable.
Just in case supporting the site wasn't enough of an incentive, I'm offering prizes to members, both new and old, for whoever completes each of the following: - Most active new member - Most contributions on WikiHack - Member to refer the most new members
Although I haven't decided how many, the prizes will be Jinx Stickers. You'll probably get around $10ish of them, possibly more depending on how well this goes.
Every contest, with the exception of the most active new member, is open to any registered member of H2H Security Group, with the sole exception of DJ Bri T, the owner. No member may win more than one (1) prize.
A New member is defined as a member who has joined the site since June 29th, 2008 server time.
Competitions
The prize for most active new member will be awarded to the new member who contributes to the site the most by posting in the forums and on WikiHack. Each quality post will be worth 1 point, and each article in WikiHack will be awarded 1 point per 1KB of text, as determined by the size calculations in the MediaWiki system. The administrators have the power to allot extra points to members to go above and beyond these two criteria. Extra points can be recommended by an administrator or moderator, but requires the approval of DJ Bri T before being considered in a new member's total points score.
The prize for most contributions on WikiHack will be awarded to the member who contributes the most content to WikiHack over the course of Rush Month, as determined by the server time. Points will be awarded based upon amount of content. One (1) point will be awarded for every 1KB of text, as determined by the MediaWiki system. Other points may be awarded for other content contributions, such as weblink or download additions, at the discretion of the administrators.
The prize for most referrals will be awarded to the member who has the most number of new members sign up with his or her referral URL. The referral URL must be used so that referrals can be tracked. Two (2) points will be awarded for each new member who signs up with the member's referral URL. One (1) point will be awarded for each new "grandfathered" sign up. The administrators have the ability to disqualify any member from this contest if cheating is suspected.
Prizes
Prizes will be a number of Jinx stickers, the amount of them to be decided on at a total date. The minimum total before shipping will be $10 per prize. Members wishing to accept a prize will be required to email DJ Bri T their mailing address.

Members can earn extra points (which will be put towards the contest they are most likely to win in) by doing any of the following (subject to change): - Request a free H2H email address and use it on the internet
